The challenge
E-STOM and PX Sports wanted more than a pretty game for the Maradona Vive museum activation in Miami: people had to really compete, records had to be trustworthy, and the experience had to live on after the visit.
What we built
- D10S Invaders: the museum game, with a kiosk mode for the venue screens.
- Verifiable leaderboard: the game engine is deterministic, so a record can be re-simulated move by move to confirm it’s real. Open leaderboards block the absurd and prize winners are verified by replay.
- The estom.mx arcade hub with 4 games: 3 built by us and 1 integrated, a shared profile, achievements and per-game leaderboards.
- Bilingual kiosk (Spanish and English) for the museum.
- Physical arcade cabinet running two games from a single file, with no internet, real controls and its own local top 10.
How we worked
The API is load tested: a ramp of virtual users against the leaderboard, scores and game sessions. Leaderboards are treated as sacred data: no test or deploy ever touches them.
What they got
An activation that works at the museum, on every visitor’s phone and in a cabinet that doesn’t depend on the network.
